This bird shaped desk lamp is an exceptionally well designed modern luxury light. It is suitable for the bedside, in study, office or work areas. It comes in black and white colors with a white or brass reflector. This light fitting can be used with standard or dimmable G9 LED bulbs. Made in Germany.

Handmade in Germany

The Alouette desk light is literally brought to life by the skillful hands of artisans in Germany. Each part is conceived with the aim to make the light of the highest quality. The head of the bird is turned from a solid block of metal whereas the delicate body is hand-spun from thick metal. The surface is finished by hand before being powder coated to make it resilient. The brass joint is milled from a solid block of brass, making it strong and enduring. The end result is a beautifully made desk light that is delicate yet durable.

Unique Yet Familiar

The alouette desk is based on the abstract sculpture of a bird. The figurative yet abstract outline makes this piece familiar yet particular at the same time. The bird’s feet are formed by a swivel joint that allows the bird to turn and bend in all directions. The light emerges from the tail in the shape of a cone.
